High-Performance
Mental Flexibility Training

Bridging Behavioral Science
& Performance Execution

I provide evidence-based therapy tailored for working professionals in high-stakes environments. Together, we’ll work on building the Mental Flexibility needed to move past barriers, like anxiety, anger, trauma, or stress-related conditions, so you can begin to move toward functioning at your best and living more fully on purpose.

Feeling the weight
of high-stakes pressure?

People aren’t alone. In high-impact careers, it’s common for The Sensor—the part of a person that scans for threats—to go into overdrive. When demands remain constant, a person may feel paralyzed, be avoidant, or unable to fully disconnect after work. It isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a predictable response by The Sensor and Protector to intense pressure. My therapy practice is dedicated to helping people move beyond these patterns by providing them tools designed to navigate these stressors, regain focus, and take action toward what’s important.

Building Mental Flexibility

Therapy is a structured, science-based process. Using my Pivot Point model, you’ll gain perspective on your Navigation Team—The Architect, The Sensor, The Protector, The Me, and The Builder—to distinguish real threats from internal discomfort. Rather than fighting difficult thoughts and feelings, you’ll learn skills to work with them, help restore your well-being, and reclaim your life.

Why It Works

The Pivot Point is designed to foster mental flexibility under pressure. Key elements of this framework include:

Defining Values: High-stakes environments can lead to autopilot, in which a person reacts to immediate demands rather than to their long-term goals. This approach involves clarifying the person’s compass headings—values—so they can distinguish between being stuck in old, unhelpful habits and consciously choosing actions that lead to the life they want.

Focusing on What Works: Instead of labeling thoughts and feelings as “good” or “bad,” a person focuses on “workability.” They ask one key question: Is this action moving me closer to the life I want, or is it holding me back? When a strategy no longer serves the person’s journey, we use this framework to pivot to something that does.

Building a Bigger Toolbox: When stress hits, the tendency is to shrink into survival mode, relying on basic fight-or-flight reactions. I help people expand their toolkit. Instead of having only one way to respond to pressure, a person learns to widen their situational awareness and consciously choose the most effective move for the specific situation at hand.

Hitting the Biological Brake: People don’t have to be a victim of their physiology. I use targeted breathing and performance tools designed to help a person manage their body’s natural stress response in real-time. Rather than being hijacked by stress, these techniques position the person to regulate their state, maintain focus, keep control, and make workable, value-based choices, regardless of how chaotic the situation becomes.
